Thanks for the input. They do seem to be getting more used to it. They are kind of silly.
 
Mine go crazy for new stuff! If I change the bedding they spend all day digging around the coop instead of foraging out side. They will adjust some are just faster than others.

Not out of the question at all but might be expensive. I use the adult bed liners (found in the adult diaper section) when I have a brood indoors. It saves on dust in the house and they are much bigger than the puppy pads.
