I have been reading all I can about keets I will be getting my keets at the end of april . so this is my question if they get pasty butt how do you clean them or stop them from getting it

The only way I know of to clean pasty butt is with warm water,if you put a little olive oil on their butts after cleaning them, it will be easier to clean after that. just make sure the keet doesn't get chilled. Are you having the keets sent through the mail? If so have their brooder warm and ready for them when they arrive. I usually put vitamins and electrolytes in their water (always give them luke warm water) the first time and after that a teaspoon or two of ACV per liter of water, then as long as they don't get chilled they don't get pasty butt and if they have it it goes away. You're going to love your babies.
