Geez, giving Aurora the go ahead to hatch could be dangerous! I love it! Feisty, that's pretty funny! Your poor DH had no idea!

Got home in time to spend time with the flock! Lots of flapping, barking and trilling! The turkeys helped me unload the van. And in the middle of it all Daisy laid an egg. My chicken sitter & I were standing by the van chatting & she just came up between us & dropped an egg. roll.png

I did the big jump... im hooked,,, only took 6 months to go from city slicker to farmgirl.. 1 camp day at Ralphies and down the rabbit hole i went..

Finally came to a agreement with the sellers contracts are signed Now to sell my house to pay for Farm... here are some pics...  AND its RALPHIE and Judy approved :) ....

Porter and his 3 girls will have a new home soon...

Wondering when i lost the girl that use to dance in the rain and sang when i cleaned and made love outside in the sun. seems like it was yesterday but yesterday was so many years ago.. that girl has been replaced with someone who seems to be what im told we are suppose to be at this age.. I am my mother, My grandmother and her Mother before her.. I am wisdom,,, But I miss my young Spirit....`````

I have done it,,

A Craigslist ad.

http://stcloud.craigslist.org/grd/5376945111.html

The Toms ticked me off, several of them acted like Belly buttons.

They beat the crap out of me CX hens and Bert Jr today.  This has never happened before. I think one of the hens will die.

If they do not sell, I will have 3 Toms next weekend.

JJ, Sidekick and Porter will be all I have left. BYW none of those three were involved in the muggings.

Composting is good for the environment..
Composting Geese is better for the environment
Composting ducks is best for the environment.
Start your composted Duck pile today,
if you do not have your duck
Borrow a neighbors duck to compost own...

Aw, sorry to hear about Bert and the hens - definitely time to thin the boys down and prevent further muggings and gang incidents sad.png
