Hen Or Roo? 13 Week Old Buff Orphington

Can someone please tell me if this chicken is a Hen or a Roo? He/She is very mean! Won't let me touch him/her. When I do, I get Pecked. Also his/her waddle get's very red when I try to pet him/her.

Also I've noticed a bunch of feathers in the coop. Any reasons for them to loose their feathers?

I'd say pullet. I have 2 from tsc, I could tell my roo very early. He was the smallest of my assorted flock only a couple days old when I got him. From the beginning he was all roo, he'd puff his chest and try to run the others now at 6 weeks he challenges another roo 3 times his size, this was also supposed to be the same breed but he's a much darker gold than the others and has black speckles in places, I also bought 5 supposed to be barred rocks only 2 have turned out to be so. I got 8 chicks from tsc and only 4 are really the breed they were supposed to be.
