I have three Khaki Campbell ducks (two drakes and one duck) that aren't quite through their second molt. I'm trying to integrate them into my mixed flock, but every time I do, my two Pekin drakes chase after them, pin them to the ground, and badger them to exhaustion. I have to remove them to keep them from being harmed. Will I have to wait until the female reaches maturity before they will accept her? Right now they are separated, but can see each other and the two Pekin drakes are constantly rushing the fence if they get too close. I would think that they would at least accept the female, but they attack her as well. I have five female Muscovy ducks and one female Pekin and they accept the new ducks without any trouble.

I am new to this and have no idea how to post my problem, I know this isn't answering yours... but I have 5 pekin ducks 2 males 3 females. They are all starting to mate and now 1 of my males is very aggressive towards the other male chasing him around the yard attacking him any time he gets near the females what do I do. The one being picked on seems very lonely I feel so bad. I figured since I have more females everything would of worked out ok but apparently not. Please help!!

I had this same problem and just made the very hard decision to re home 2 of my drakes.. 3 females may seem like alot to you but acutally it should be 3 females per drake and then there can still be aggression towards another drake since there will always be a dominant drake. That was the problem here 1 drake dominating the other 2 and I was running out of places to put everyone plus it was keeping the flock stressful, these drakes they hatched here and I love them all but i cannot tell you the calm here now. I had enough females but it didn't matter the drakes just had to fight anyway. Sorry wish I could say things will get better but you could try more females and see. Oh and mine aren't penned in a pen they have half an acre to roam around in and still had to fight.

You may just have to keep them separated since your trying to introduce a drake into the mix. that can always stir up trouble. probably the reason the attack the female KC is because she is with the drakes they view her as an outsider also. Once mating season begins to wane you might try introducing again I wish you the best.
