Hello, my lovebird has been more territorial and having nesting behavior. A few months ago she had 5 chicks and only 3 lived. And I am currently in the process of weaning them. I cannot have more than 5 lovebirds in my house so I would have to sell them. Should they be hand fed or should I leave them with their parents? Is there a way to avoid her from laying the eggs? But she already has an egg bum. Should I put the nesting box in? Thank you to anyone who answers!

If you do not want her laying eggs, take the nest box away from her. Her aggression is due to breeding hormones. I would personally hand feed the babies if you have hand feeding experience. Thats the funnest part of breeding. They will sell better when hand fed.
