thought i had EEs and orpingtons

I'm guessing that the yellow ones are from your Easter Eggers and the black with the white head spot is from your Dominique.

Yea the yellow one with the "turtle" back is EE but the other one with foot feathers is my mystery chick. I didn't have a Brahma till after placing the eggs under my hen. So could it still be an EE? The two all black ones are EEs too I think.

Since Easter Eggers can be a cross between any breeds it may have a gene that causes feathered legs in the genetics somewhere, so that would probably be the best guess.

What are sex links are they a highbrid breed?
Sex link is a mixed breed bird that is the result of a specific genetic crossing that results in chicks who are able to be sexed, at hatch, based on color or the wing feathering (depending on whether it's a color based cross or a feathering rate cross)

So in my case I have a Dominique Hen and a Black Australorp Roo, my sex links would be color based cross because of the white spot that can be located on the head. This indicates Male or Female? I think male.
