Hi,
I bought a carton of eggs from the local market. Four were left in the refrigerator. I made an omelette with three and then cleaned the skillet to make an egg for my dog. The fourth one was a horrific black. The pan was hot and the smell is simply unbelievable.
As the egg got hotter, it turned green and black and the so-called white part looked like an almost clear liquid that was curdling.
I think it will be years before I crack another egg. The smell is so bad that even with the windows open, UV air filtration, commercial grade essential oil diffuser, and windows open, I cannot breathe.
This is the worst egg experience in my life. I think I will soon become a vegan.
This has to be really dangerous. For the record, the shell looked perfectly normal.
Struggling for air!
