Hi everyone needing some advice please we had a duck in the garden but think she got eaten she had laid 12 eggs but came down she was of the nest only 5 eggs and feathers all over any way I brought them in after a few hours they are now in a shoe box in towels we first noticed she was sat on eggs 25 days ago so will these hatch soon not really sure what I am doing or anything with these x

Without a mama sitting on the eggs they will need to be in an incubator . The duck people should be able to advise you best. NorthFLchick has given you the link.

So sorry you lost her to predators. I would guess a fox.

This morning when i walked into the barn to check on my female duck and her eggs. One egg was on the floor. And cracked! Ants came crawling out. I was heart broken.
ducks sit on their eggs for a total of 35 days.
do you have an incubator?
They need 75 to 85 degree and need mositure to hatch properly

Glad you joined us!

You need to keep those eggs warm! Do you have a heating pad? I've successfully saved abandoned eggs with one many times. Definitely check into the duck section. The duck people there may be able to give you some more advise on how to save.
