Broody hen question

I have a hen on eggs going on 7 days now. She started sitting on them in the favorite nesting box and the other hens kept laying on top of her. So 2 nights ago I moved her into a "nursery". Small run with her own nest and food and water. I've not seen her come off the eggs, but the food has been disturbed, so I know she's gotten up and possibly eaten. But there's no poop. She's been in there alone for 2 nights and a day and a half. I thought they came off the nest to poop once or twice a day. BIG huge poops. There's nothing there though. Does that mean she's not eating? I even put a small bowl of scrambled egg in there with her to entice her to eat. What else can I do?

Let her do her thing and keep her food and water clean. I tend to stop treats during brooding because I don't like to divide the hen's attention between treats and brooding. She'll get up and eat, drink and poop as she pleases. I've even had hens do their broody poo in the nest. I like to remove broody poo from the cage when I can get at it without disturbing the hen. That's probably more for me as I don't enjoy the smell of it.

X2 I've had broodies go a week between visits out of the nest. Sometimes they are just really intense. Ha ha She will be fine. :) I've tried giving one broody hen a treat, but she just ignored it. I came back the next day, and it was still there. Good luck!
