Abscessed tooth in my chick.

I think my chicken has an abscessed tooth, she is not chewing much and seems to be drooling on the left side of her mouth.

What do you all do for your birds when they get an abscessed tooth?

I am hoping so, I did a google search and did get not any hits on " how to cure an abscessed tooth in a chicken before it turns to rabies"


I would have thought someone else searched that at least once or twice.

Any signs of the chicken sneaking out at night and killing livestock? That's another very common differential.

I have heard that diagnostic labs love when vets send them cases of bird rabies. Maybe you should contact your vet?
 
Sorry, I had to leave for a few days, I Was scared of catching rabies.

I will be sure to ask my Vet tomorrow.

Maybe I can even get him to come out and do a cleaning on my chickens teeth.
