I took video of chick #4 hatching. If my phone ever cooperates so I can get it on youtube, one of my males crows several times during the video.

Once mine figured out how to crow anytime anyone or anything made a noise he'd crow Especially when the dogs barked

A small paintbrush dipped in formula works well.

No, they have a different crow, it almost sounds like a laugh? They don't crow as often since I only have two button quail males. I will try to get one on video but it will probably take a while. Button quail are very skittish for the most part and don't like to be handled. Some folks hand raise them from chicks and get ones that they can hold, but mine freak out when I get within 2-3 feet.
