I'd be in deep doodoo if I were able to have noise makers.Good thing.
I started with three ducklings I hatched. They were soooo cute!
Then I hatched some of their eggs.
Next like chicken math, I bought a few to bring variety to the flock. Hatched some of those eggs, let two duck hens hatch babies and by the time I was done, I had 43 ducks!
We only have Daisy now since she was hiding on a nest of eggs when the butcher came to pick up the flock of ducks.
No, I gave those eggs to the dogs!
Several years ago I had quail and pheasant.
And then there were the wild turkey we hatched.
Years ago we had rabbits.
Years before that we had hamsters.
Some lessons take years to learn!
I'm still learning.....I have 500 chicks to chickens.
