This chick hatched today by mama pure black Silkie. I would like to know if the father is one of my two Silkie roosters OR a LF rooster messed up the hatch. I have not hatched Silkies before so don't know... Do you think the father is a Silkie or doesn't look like it?

Definitely a mix, unless you were thrown a white skin, which happens. Rare, but happens.

If the father was a silkie, & mated with a white, or yellow skinned hen, then it very well can be a Fibro Sex-link. Males being white, or yellow skinned, while females are black skinned.

What color are the Silkie roosters? Sometimes the color of the parents & the chick can help figure out who the parent must be.

Once the chick grows some feathers, you should be able to tell for sure. Crossing a silkie to any other breed usually produces chickens with normal feathers. But of course a pure Silkie will have silkie-type feathers.

:barnie Not again.. this is my 3rd time I am failing to hatch pure Silkie..ghrrr. The father is a LF from a breed that has nothing to do with Silkie.. the chick has 5 toes on the left foot, could not see the right foot.
Well, thank you all for the information... I will have to think how to protect the hen next time from the LF roosters. And teach the two Silkie roosters to do their job 😄😄🤣
