some Cuckoo silkie lines need ALOT of work. I have yet to see a black faced cuckoo male(but seen females) even on the best lines.

can you post pics of his shanks? the issue of getting Cuckoo silkies is that most are project birds. meaning they have yet to break the Id B linkage(Id somiant Dermal Inhibitor which prevents black skin is linked to the Barring gene and this wont allow a bird to have Dark skin at all)
