Make sure if you use a product with an antibiotic in it that you check the withdrawal time for meat.

I would recommend buying a few bags of manufactured feed to use at least temporarily. Elevator-mixed feed has a much shorter shelf life than bagged feed, as it its not processed and stabilized for long-term storage. You should plan on using it within 6-8 weeks of mixing (manufactured feed, if stored properly, can be kept for up to 3 months before the water-soluble vitamins deteriorate to sub par levels.
