Any guesses? I know these guys are ridiculously hard to sex but guesses?
Really hoping its a pullet, otherwise I don't have anywhere for it. If its a pullet, I can at least squeeze it it with one of my breeding pens, cause the eggs will look different.
Looks like a pullet to me. I dont see streamers...looks more of a pullet than my silkie. Mine too is 16 weeks and boy does she is starting to look like a he! Although her temperment is soft and no crowing yet, her comb and wattles are scaring me right now!
What do you think?
Pullet or cockerel???
SUNSHINE would it be possible to tie the crest up with a rubber band or something - just long enough to get a picture of exposed comb. I am thinking pullet but need to see what is under all those feathers, before I am positive.
Thanks for the input. But I still have my doubts on my silkies gender. I had a GLW cockerel and they never buttes heads... In fact this silkie falls at the lowest ranking even to my confirmed pullets... I guess it s never confirmed until you see an egg!
