18 week Prairie Bluebell Egger / EE - Male??

My chickens are about 18 weeks. Not 100% sure on breed as I got them from a mixed bin at a feed store, but after some investigation about what they ordered the previous week this one is probably a Prairie Bluebell Egger / EE type.

BUT, is it a Male or a Female?? I finally got a chance to go and take pictures, and something seems strange with it's tail / saddle feathers? Is it a cockerel? Her comb was very flat up until just a few days ago and it seems to have grown significantly also. Not sure how big a pea comb is supposed to be! Thank you!!

Looks to be a pullet, getting ready to lay, a cockerels comb would have reddened up 8 weeks ago.

Thank you, I hope so! I might be over worrying. Hopefully I'll get a colored egg one day soon to confirm!

I will be interested to see if yours turns out to be a pullet or a cockerel. My 18 week Prairie blue Bell looks nearly identical and I’m still waiting to see if she is a she or a he. Hopefully I’ll know in the next couple of weeks. She has such a different build than the rest of my girls.

Your girl is gorgeous! I love the lighter coloring she has. I think this is what threw me with mine also, she is so much skinnier / taller looking than my others. The rest of my girls are super rounded and kind of "fluffy" in comparison (I have Wyandottes and a Sapphire Gem).

I think I have a Prairie Bluebell Roo and this is what he looks like....I can't find any pictures to confirm....but all my pullets look similar to yours and then there is this:
