Black copper maran? That would be awesome. Got 17 multi colored egg layers online. Then picked up 8 more in town. Of those 8, two were barred rocks and 4 were speckled Sussex. Looks like only. 1 of the 4 speckled is a boy. Nice! Wound up with like 8 barred rocks. The two I have now super nice amd pretty, but that’s a lot black and white birds.

And yes, 4x4 feet is a bit tight for 25, but they’ll be in 8x8 in a couple more weeks.

It might be a BCM? I've never had one so don't take my word for it, but I see no one else has jumped in yet

It is most likely a BCM if you got a multi colored assortment they would most likely include a marans. I love my little splash marans.
