2 live baby chicks ...2 dead with a deformed stomach

hi...our first 2 chicks that hatched(from under the hen)...are great ...the next two did not get all the way trhu the eggs and died...when i looked at them...their stomachs were deformed...anyone have this problem before?....the hen stopped sitting on the last 2 eggs...1 is peeping...so i am going to try to incubate for the last days

How do you know there stomachs were deformed? Did you split then open upon death? How was it deformed?

Their abdomens were red and looked like they had not totally formed ...hard to explain...they were large and round and almost like they were half baked....
