I really love the pictures everyone takes of their chickens. There is something comforting about them. As an artist when I paint a picture the background is just as important as the focus of what you are presenting. Keep in mind of the things in the picture that are surrounding your chickens, for example poles, chairs, stuff you don't think about but will show up after you take the image.
The hose and fencing stuff in the back ground of this picture become a distraction. Now I need to practice my camera skills.
