WOW! How did you get pictures of the deer that close up?

Haha, its so funny - the deer come around here often and the chickens are always curious (the Roo somehow knows they are no harm, otherwise he is a bad Protector!) - So the chickens get used to them and mingle (and vice versa?)... And often, the deer do not care if you get that close (that was the closest I've gotten to a deer) - they are just hungry. This is one of my favorite pics for that reason; its so close and still candid! The deer are pests though because they eat a lot of the chicken feed since we have several stations around the house. Luckily they do not come every single day, but they definitely come around and we just deal with it.
