The typical small simple feeder is essential when raising youngsters, but is also great for calcium grit when hens are adults. I made cute little corner shelves with a small lip so they don't topple over with pecking. This way my girls can peck at the calcium they need & I can used All Flock feed, since my Roos don't need extra calcium.

It does! We have whittled sticks we stick in the hardware cloth holes. It gives them hight to get up and away from each other, but also a place to play.
