I am new to chickens. Some of my girls have started laying in the last 3 weeks. Tonight while the girls were out free ranging one of my Production Reds jumped on top of one of my SLW and then one of the BO. I pushed her off and she then went about her nightly foraging in the yard. She has become agressive in the last few weeks. When I sit out with them in the evening she comes up and nips me on the arm of elbow.
I have seen her in the nesting boxes and she has never crowed!!
Is this a hen or a rooster????
I am ready to start selling my eggs and I do not want a roo.
Any help would be appreciated.
