Glad to have you back! So sorry for your loss.
Peppermint or mint seems to be a good deterrent for coons and many other rodents. Perhaps if you spray around the coop every so often will help some. It seems to help one of our friends with them as they lost a few hens to coons recently.

Thanks! The coons in the ckn yard/coop have so far not been an issue this time. (Electric fence seemed to help them loose interest.) Lost one as a young chick, the other was a wanderer annnd one day never made it home
