I brought home this bunch a week ago; they’re now 3 weeks old. Sold as true Ameraucanas but this is my first time with anything other than silkies, so!

Any guesses? Cockerel or pullet?

That would be my guess too. The wheaten looks to be blue or splash wheaten and the last chick is blue rather than lavender :)

Thanks for the insight! Based on combs alone, my guesses are the same as yours. I can only keep one boy! 😭

UPDATE: Hey everyone, we’re now at 6 weeks!

I’m thinking the splash and blue are pullets, black a cockerel, and blue wheaten I have ZERO clue!

You can tell their sex by looking at their wings a pullets wing has 2 steps a Cockrell has 1 also if you pick them up by the head the pullets lift their legs and the cockerel reaches for the ground
