I seem to have lost some eggs. DH said he set 24, each had been marked so we would know about any "extras" added to the nest. He has pulled 20 so far, 12 from the Icelandic broody who abandoned the whole nest. Then another few that he found uncovered in a previously unused nest box (no idea how they moved) And a few more from when the cochin broody moved to a different nest box. The confusing part is, we thought she had 4 under her, and she did, just not any of the marked 4 that we thought were under her

The Icelandic claimed a different nest box, and I left an egg in front of her where she could see it last night. Today she had claimed it and was more than just a tad protective

Here's hoping she keeps on it. I didn't want to scare her off the nest so I didn't look too closely, she could have others... We shall just have to wait and see

Awesome tree! There's a lot of pretty ones, but I love yours the best! As of now you have a pretty good lead!
