Little welbar chick about 4 weeks old. I got her from a local store so I’m just wanting to making sure this is a welbar, it’s hard finding info & pictures for this breed online. Is it normal for their combs to have so much color this young?

that doesn't look obviously like a male to me though 4 weeks is a bit young to be confident about that. But Welbars are an autosexing breed, so it is relatively easy for breeders and retailers to sex them at 1 day old, so they shouldn't be selling cockerels as pullets.

It has a photo of female there, and there is one of a male on the whole watchlist page, though no photos of chicks.
