5 week old Easter Eggers. Roo?

Color has changed significantly on the golden one! They were both grey and black at birth. No idea how to sex Easter Eggers. Feeling like Fatty, the golden one, is a he?

And yes, it pooped on the carpet during this photo shoot. Oops! Yucky.

EEs are generally a little harder. The males often have red shoulders, and the females usually look like your stripey one. Because Fatty has neither of those characteristics, and the comb isn't red or abnormally large, I would just repost in a few weeks or wait for hackle feathers.

Personally, I'm leaning towards female.
Thank you! That would be awesome if she was really a girl. We already have one rooster and don't want more...and we love the coloring on our EE! :)
