Hello, we hatched these from a box of eggs off Craigslist. They're a barnyard mix which makes it difficult because I don't know what breed I'm looking at to know if it's normal for them to have big combs.

Here's my guess... what do you think?

#1 - Roo
#2 - Roo... but I Really want it to be a hen so half of me thinks it might be!
#3 - Hen
#4 - Hen
#5 - Roo

#1 and #5 are cockerels, but for the rest of them it’s too young to tell for sure, I would post again in a few weeks for confirmation

Hello. I've added some new pics. 2 weeks on.

1: very sure that's a roo
2: it's comb is now quiet red ... what do you think about the shape of the feathers? Because of the pattern in them they look very pointy.
3: pretty confident this is a pullet
4: pretty confident this is a pullet
5: no pointy feathers to speak of but very red comb. I'm still leaning towards boy but I've had leghorns with combs like this. Don't be too deceived tho ... it's not a leghorn.

Please let me know what you think. I'm going to need to move the boys out soon because I need to get down to at least 3 due to space.

#1, #3, and #5 are definitely cockerels
