6 Week Old RIR suddenly has deformed leg

Put chicks out in the run for the first time today. We noticed on had one of its legs turned inwards. Eating and running around. We examined and didn't feel any breaks. Any ideas . I've read about Mareks but it sound like it would be causing other issues.

It could be a leg bone deformity, which can be common in chickens. They can get progressively worse sometimes, affecting the hock tendon. Is there any swelling in any of the joints? It could also be an injury, but I would use some poultry vitamins with minerals, just in case of a deficiency.

Sadly, I decided to cull her today. She had gotten to where she was just hobbling around on her hock and seemed to be in pain. So I made the hard decision to take her from her misery.

Sorry for your loss. It's always hard to make those kinds of decisions, but good to keep the chick from suffering.
