You do not always hear them. Orpingtons and favorelles for example are very quiet and hatch slowly. Other breeds are much more vocal.

ah ha...most of my eggs can be orpington crosses........

Just checked I got 2 pipped one silkie and Moran mix/moran (sorry for spelling) best new all day. Very very bad day I wish I could send my brother and sisters to Timbuktu.

65% humidity, no cheeping, no wiggling, no signs of life...had a lil catnap woke up went to peek and was informed nada yet so I am not the only one peeking!

It's a bit high, but it always goes way up when the chicks start hatching, they are wet! The others seem to do fine. Day 22?

Good night, I had one hatch, but, nothing more going on, not even a pip.

I have a pip! a pip!!!!! and it's from my "special" egg too!!!!!!!! eggna..the shell is just cracked and pushed out of alinement a bit and it is 1/4 of an inch from My X mark the spot pip spot
