7-11 eggs a day?

For the dead of winter, I'd say you are making out just fine

As long as they are all acting normal I would say that is perfectly fine. If you want more than that than look in to an artifical light. Hens wll only lay when there is light. I have 16 hens and i get any where from 3-9 eggs a day. If any of your hens become sick there is always the possibility of them being egg bound so just watch them!!! How old are your hens???

I'd say you are doing fine. I have 12 adult (3 yr. old) hens, 12 layer pullets (3 are broody ATM), plus four meatie pullets (not the best layers). So in all, 25 birds capable of laying. I'm averaging about 16 eggs a day right now.
No heat, no light.

IMO, adding light this late in winter would be a waste of energy. December 21st was the shortest day of the year, the days are getting longer already and according to the farmer's almanac, we'll be back up to 14 hours of daylight about mid-March.
