7 Ducks who dislike water, is this RIGHT???

Okay that is what I thought. And I just remembered that one of the girls at TS told me that ALL of their first ducks (the ones we got ours from) had "gone swimming the first day there at TS" and several drowned.

So maybe that is an issue for them.

I am making a waterer for them. It's not very tall, so I hope it works. It is a salad container that I bought salad in. I cut two squares in the top. Hopefully it will work till we find something taller.

Find a heavy rock to put inside to keep them from tipping it over.

They may also cry if they are always wet. Do they have a place to get away from the wet bedding. If it's constantly wet they will get cold. That happened to mine. I ran out of bedding and couldn't get any for a day BC the store was closed. They were miserable. Also when I had mine for 3 weeks they began to feather so I think I got mine at a week old they are mallards from tsc. Im going on 4 weeks with them tomorrow. Im guessing they are five weeks. They have full chest and belly feathers. Sorry for the long post.
