When people post their Americauna I always see others say they are EE. I purchased these as Americauna. But… what is it? I have 2 but only this one will allow its photo to be taken?

I know it’s super early but this chick was ornery in the brooder loved to try to attack could it be a cockerel?

The hatcheries often sell Easter eggers, deceptively, as Americanas, but they are not the same thing. Easter eggers come in many colors. Ameraucanas only come in a few specific colors, and if those colors are not named, as in blue Ameraucanas or wheaten Ameraucanas, then you very likely will get Easter eggers. Which is no bad thing, since they are better layers. But they're not guaranteed to lay blue or green eggs. You can get anything.
