8x8 layout advice

Just built a really nice 8x8 with a 7/12 roof. Need advice for layout of roost and boxes. Windows on West and East walls centered. Have 12 chicks. Also looking for opinions on poop boards ty!

This is how I am laying mine out - I also have an 8x8 coop. Basically, doing roost bars in a long "L" layout. I have a HenGear roll out nest box. To save on some inside space, I framed my nest box in the wall so that about 2/3 of it stick out the wall, and the entrance to the box, and the egg collection tray are on the 1/3 that is on the inside of the coop. In my drawing here, I have dotted lines showing feeders and dust bath box, but I may just keep all that outside in the covered run.

pit the nest boxes where they will stay dark.

In my 8x8 I put poop shelves on both sides. There is a walking corridor in the middle. Feeder and water can go under one poop shelf, and nests under the other.

And YES, it is tight, my chickens have to bounce up, and bounce down, not much flight space. The poop shelves are I think 3 feet and 2.5 feet up.

But, they do just fine.
