Alicia...cute bug eyed babies! Sorry about the chick....

Rain buckets yesterday afternoon! Had a whole yard of soaked to the skin hens. We sure needed the rain. And I believe the hens even enjoyed it. Daisy is starting to look like she's ready for a roasting pan. She has just about shed everything . Waiting for the perfect time to photograph her. Want to enter the Worst Molt contest again! Y'all need to be photographing your bald turkeys!! Let's represent this year!!

Life happens. I think next time I get shipped eggs I will make sure they don't travel so far... that batch of eggs came from the east coast. Out of 24 eggs I now have 1 live chick

that's the one looking at the camera amongst it's new turkey siblings, up to 4 as of this morning!

They are so cute. Love the guy looking at the camera. I'd be in there snuggling them. I don't need to be raising turkeys. I'd be over run....wouldn't want to get rid of any.

Here are a few updated pictures of The Broody Bunch's baby if anyone wants to take a stab at what she might possibly be. In thinking the may be semi penciled but I'm not positive. The patterns on her feathers sort of remind me of a washed out Sweet Pea.
