I finally found Rosabelle's newest nest! I was sure a skunk or raccoon had snagged her, but I happened to be out when she came out for a bite to eat and a good broody poop. I've been searching all along the fences in the pastures, in all the sagebrush of the summer pasture, when in fact she was hiding right next to the well pump the whole time! My dad pulled out and replaced the auto waterer for the horses during the winter when it went out, and he left it near the pump and we just haven't gotten around to recycling it yet.

Also, here's the poult y'all described as red Palm. I'm really liking how it's turning out! I'm getting the feeling it's a jake but I'm not 100% sure yet...
