It's very early, at least for me..... I'm not a morning person lol but I did a quick scroll through my phone for pictures. I found some decent penciled pictures but the semi penciled ones aren't great. I'll have to get a few later... IF I still have a semi penciled out there.

Are pencilled sweetgrass a thing? I cant find anything about them on a google search, but the breeder I got my 3 from said some of them are pencilled, and it made sense to me that one of the ones I got was pencilled. Her coloration has always been super different. I've never had pencilling though, so thoughts?

Like your website thanks for taking the time to set it up very informative, I am always looking for turkey information. Not enough information out there for turkeys. So thanks again for taking your time to get more out there. Have never seen such a complete varieties/color/genetics list before is very helpful, will be very nice when you can complete with all pictures so hard to find pictures of all varieties. Kevin Porter and yourself are doing a great job. THANKS AGAIN.

That's really odd, because this poult is bronze-based and neither pencilled, nor tiger blues are bronze-based. Do you have any other turkeys, or can you show some pics of your turkeys?

He makes them. You can check out the Fall Fire genetics at Porter's Rare Heritage Turkeys. From there, you breed in the slate gene and the penciled gene.

I created them myself. This was one of my long-term goals.
Took me about 5 years to get all the color genes out of the varieties I had and put them back together in this variety.

Esther thinks this little palm is a lavender palm. She can't find any markings to say this poult isn't lavender! (She says the mark on the tail base is poo, but I'm not convinced yet)

From the picture it appears that there are some black speckles visible.
The second one is what we call a Blue-Winged Narragansett.
As I don't have a good picture of this variety already, I would really appreciate if you might allow me to use it on my website for demonstrational purpose.

That 2nd and 3rd hen are breathtaking!!!
