They do clean up all the fallen fruit, and all the bugs around, they keep the grass under the trees short. They don't hurt the trees, but....

go ahead and link it to them, then they will know that turkeys can fly. And they will fly. Perhaps they will get those useless bb turkeys, those are a lot less likely to fly, and a lot more likely to die.

It hit me today who the parents o this poult are. The hen, I know for sure, didn't nest share because she placed herself so far away. She is a tri colored mottled hen, daughter to Slater, mother unknown but could guess. She has one B ( black) and one b1 ( black wing bronze) as her mother was probably a sweetgrass. I am pretty sure the sire has to be a recessive slate, hence the b ( bronze) barring showing up on the wings. What do you all think? I don't have as much bronze as black winged bronze.
