A question about grit

My grit and oyster shell container is one of those plastic trough feeders, I cut the openings larger and used some pieces of 2x4 to make it stand higher and screwed that to a piece of OSB.

Your chickens are a lovely colour! What kind are they? Also can you get them with no feather on their feet (I don't like feathery feet).

These are belgium bearded d'uccle. The color is mille fluer, many breeds have this coloration but sometimes it can be hard to find. Maybe pick a breed and do a search for that breed in mille fleur like "mille fleur cochin" I know feathered feet it was the first one that popped in my head lol I will see what else I can think of.
