http://www.farmsanctuary.org/rescue/adoption/faqs.html I found it. I guess i wouldn't qualify to adopt a needy animal because I don't practice a vegetarian lifesyle. I hope that they realize that they have excluded the majority of potential volunteers with that requirement.

They seem kind of radical to me. I wouldn't support a rescue that *rescues* animals from auction barns and slaugther houses. Thats a purchase, not a true rescue. Really good, legot rescues don't do those things. They also don't enforce a vegetarian lifestyle on their volunteers and adopters. And they don't rabidly go after farmers like that websites suggests this group does. If you want to adopt a farm animal, try to find one that focuses on its critters, and minds their own business.
