Add breeds to APA?

The American poultry Association actually puts all the newly recognized breeds/varieties and their standards on their website since the newest edition hasn’t come out yet.

That article is interesting, though, clearly the American Poultry Association page hasn’t been updated lately: it doesn’t include the silver Muscovy.
Buff Chanteclers began development in 1977. Around 1986 they tried getting them accepted. I guess they didn’t rally enough support.
I have never known Kraienkoppe to be popular in the United States. Popularity, quality, and a group of breeders working together toward a common goal are what gets a breed accepted, not how old the breed is.
