Hi All,
I’m looking into getting registered to legally sell eating eggs through local ships nearby me in California. The eggs will be laid by my flock of ~50 on my 5 acre property.
One of the things about the requirements that stood out to me is that if eggs are not sold on the premises where they’re produced, you’re required to label the egg carton with your full name and full address.
I understand the reasoning to some extent but it seems a little sketchy - this is my residence and it doesn’t feel great to be posting it out there for everyone and their mom to see.
Anyone have any experience with this? Is there a workaround such as a PO Box? I’m guessing not but figured it was work asking!
