My first time with geese. They are the heavy show type, the male actual was champion heavy goose at the show this weekend out of 7. I've searched my yard many times but haven't seen eggs. She has laid in the past with previous owner. They have been breeding, male is protective of her, and her abdomen is hanging a lot lower than before, been that was for a month and a half. I've read that these are all signs of laying. Am I just missing eggs, or is she just skipping this season? I've heard that they can start later in the seadon, but season is almost over. My friends goose started laying about a month ago, so I'm so confused, really wanted goslings this year. I've even gone digging through the pine needles from the trees in case she buried them. Maybe set up my game cameras and see if she goes anywhere?
