After the snow/ice storm we had this weekend, my daughter found 2 big and beautiful frozen dragon flies yesterday. Then, today as she was putting old chicken coop bedding out back, she found a frozen robin lying on the ground.
We brought them all in, just if by some miracle, they could be revived. At least then we can know we did all we could do. This particular daughter wants to go into veterinary medicine some day. <3

The robin was just too far gone already when she found it. It was so bizarre to have found these animals in perfect condition, just frozen and laying on top of the snow.
