Aggressive?

I feel like my rooster is becoming increasingly aggressive with my girls. Am I just being a paranoid mama?

Is he doing that during mating? Or is he pulling out feathers? I am assuming he's young, as many roosters are pains until they fully mature which can take 1-2 years.

What is your hen to rooster ratio? Or some roosters have favorite hens and those are the ones he breeds over and over.
You can get hen saddles to protect your birds' backs.

I have 9 mature hens and 2 roosters all over a year old, then 11 that I am not sure about as they are still young, couple months old. This particular rooster is almost 2 years old. I feel like he is just pulling feathers with this hen but all the hens are starting to looked more roughed up than normal.

Too many roosters. I would remove the more aggressive one, either temporarily or permanently.
