Mine free range..although we have buzzards here...my GSD's look after them all..yes they too get soaked in the rain and look like drowned rats but they have great health and have a wonderful life here...what more could I ask for ? They are more hardy than most would think....

Try the "Paint Silkie " thread. Also people tend to think silkies are stupid. Most times it's their big crests and beards obscuring their vision. If you don't show, cut back the feather around face and eyes and what a difference it makes. The feathers will grow back.
