Okay, It's time for a updates.

My new quad I brought in from KY are doing great.
The pullets are 'starting' to redden up around their face, so hopefully they'll start laying soon (Within the next 4-6 weeks).
My SDW cockerel is starting to fill in nicely, the baby feathers he has in his chest are starting to get replaced by new, black feathers. Which, is fantastic!

I had old English chicks hatch, as well.
I have 2 bb reds, and one brown red so far. I'll post pics when I can.

Another update concerning hatching eggs, I set 53 old English eggs in an incubator my buddy lent me for this hatch.
I have 13 Crele, 21 bb reds, and 19 cross colors.
They should be due to hatch around the end of the month.

The first 2 batched of chicks I hatched this with the old English I got 4 cockerels (3 bb reds and a blue cross color) and 2 pullets (1 brown red and a cross color).

I think in the 3rd hatch I got 1 bb red cockerel and 2 pullets (I *think*); a bb red and a brown red.

Soooo I picked up four more bantams from TSC to day. Two silkies just in case the eggs I have do not make it to hatch. And two that I think are going to be OEGBs pretty sure one is going to be a silver duckwing not as sure on the other it was a redder than a normal BBR. The two silkies are a black and a white.

Very nice!
I want to get 1 or 2 silkie hens and have them with my cross colors.
Then when they go broody, I'll have double incubators, and I don't have to raise them. Lol.
