So my first incubating experience. Put 5 eggs in. Thought I saw something on day 10 candling. Two hatched beautiful chicks on day 21. The other 3 nothing, cracked them open and just warm soupy eggs, no chicks.
 
So my first incubating experience. Put 5 eggs in. Thought I saw something on day 10 candling. Two hatched beautiful chicks on day 21. The other 3 nothing, cracked them open and just warm soupy eggs, no chicks.

Those eggs were probably infertile. If you have no experience in candling---get you a bright small flash light and a round cylinder out of a roll of paper towels or toilet tissue---cut it to about 2 to 3"---stick the light inside with the egg on top in a dark room---you will see amazing things. Some do it a lot, I candle on about day 12 and day 18 when I am fixing to go into lock-down.
